Saint Jean Cap Ferrat Beach

Plage des Fosses

A great beach to find after a little walk on one of the coastal paths around the peninsula. In case you’re renting a small boat, this is a perfect little spot to have a small stop and dip in the water. Unlike the beach in Nice, this too, has a beach with sand. St Jean Cap Ferrat’s harbor is a 20 minute walk away, and a lot of restaurants can be found here. This beach is a lot cleaner than the one around Nice, or Beaulieu for example, that should be reason enough to come here! The beautiful bay and the green trees create a calm and relaxing atmosphere, quite an idyllic place for a swim.

There is a free car park, but there are also busses that go to St Jean Cap Ferrat from Nice from the Promenade des Arts (between Place Garibaldi and the MAMAC museum). Take bus 81 get off at Marie.

Sentier du Bord de Mer – this is the coastal walk which takes you past beautiful rocky beaches too.
